The “#theAmazingTweetup” was an event created for the Sri Lankan Tweeps which organized by Dialog Axiata along with the Spider Man 3D launch in Majestic Platinum Cinema. This precious event got opened for a only selected number of tweeps. First accident on E01 - Sri Lanka

Ceylon Today Reports : A 27-year old resident of Dehilwala died early this morning when he lost control of his car and skidded of the Southern Expressway, Police Media Unit said. The accident occurred around 1:40am today. There were no other passengers in the vehicle at the time, the media unit said, adding that investigations are being carried out to rule out excessive speeding or the use of alcohol. This is the first death on the newly opened expressway, which cuts down travel time from Colombo to Galle down to an hour, from the earlier three hours.
